Test Description

The JUSPAY  Interview process has the following rounds:

  • 1st: online MCQs
  • 2nd: Coding
  • 3rd: Hackathon

In contradiction to the convention, JUSPAY does not have any aptitude questions. The questions are completely based on the programming concepts like pointers, strings, hashing and arrays.

On clearing the first round, you will be made eligible for the coding round where you are asked to solve three problems post which you will be invited for the Hackathon in the company. you have to get the appropriate cut off in the Hackahon to get the offer.

Juspay has a hackathon as their third round.

Test Description

The recruitment process of Freshdesk has the following rounds:

  • 1st: online coding
  • 2nd: technical interview 1 (Face to Face)

The test paper of Freshdesk does not have any aptitude questions. The first round consists of two advanced programming questions. The test usually consists of three algorithm problems hosted on hackerrank, codechef etc. The test will consists of one easy, one medium and one difficult question. You can solve the problems in any language of your choice supported by hackerrank.

How is the cut-off recommended for a test?

There are industry standard methods to decide cut-offs. One of the most commonly used is Angoff method. In this method, following steps are taken

  1. For each question, approximate accuracy rate is determined (based on level of difficulty/past data for that question).
  2. An average is taken across questions to compute the overall accuracy rate.
  3. This % is the suggested cutoff. Of-course, the company can increase or reduce the cutoff
  4. g. if 5 questions have an expected accuracy of 30%, 10 questions have an expected accuracy of 50% and 5 questions have an expected accuracy of 75%, then the overall cutoff will be (5*30% + 10*50% + 5*75%)/20 = 51.25%

Test Description

Like the most companies, MU Sigma Interview process also same they recruits candidates in three stages namely,

  • Online Test

It is an online test conducted by cocubes.com. The test features 42 questions to be completed in an hour. The first part is for 60 minutes and has 3 sections. The questions cover Quants, Verbal Skills, Logical Thinking, and Reasoning. Then psychometric tests and observation tests. In the observation tests, the student will be given some articles to read and questions will be asked based on that. No negative marking is there for this test.

Numerical Reasoning:

These  tests are designed to measure your numerical abilities and relate to graphs, percentages and tables whereby you will be asked to analyse data and chose from a set of multiple choice answers. Practice beforehand is therefore vital in order to complete them successfully within time limits.

Verbal Reasoning:

This test comprises of a series of paragraphs which you will be required to read and then answer questions. Your options will be True, False or Cannot Tell. This test will be assessing your analytical skills as well as your comprehension and grammar.

Diagrammatic / Logical Reasoning:

This test comprises of questions relating to sequences of shapes and patterns. In each question there will be a missing step and you will be provided with a number of answers to choose from. These are designed to test your logical reasoning as well analytical and problem-solving skills.

Technical:

In technical section , questions are from basic computer science and logics to develop algorithms.

Round 1&2 Online Test

 Sanmar online test concentrates more on Reasoning, English Grammar and Technical section.

  • Reasoning section focuses on topics like Data Arrangement, Data Sufficiency, Data Interpretation, Syllogism, Puzzles and, Visual Reasoning
  • Concentrate more on the technical section which includes C, OOPS, and Java. Since there isn’t any negative marking try to attend maximum questions to score better.

 

Round 3 Group Discussion

  • Initiating a GD is as important as talking relevant information.
